HERB ALPERT & THE TIJUANA BRASS' A TASTE OF HONEY.


Engineers are often involved in the pre-production of records, sometimes sitting in on rehearsals with the producer and the band. In the case of “A Taste of Honey,” engineer Larry Levine was actually bold enough to suggest the song to the producer/artist Herb Alpert.

  Phil Spector’s musical legacy survives.


His ‘Wall of Sound’ changed rock ’n’ roll forever. Phil Spector was often described as a music legend during the trial that ended Wednesday with a jury unable to decide whether he was guilty or innocent of murder.
