I never got the opportunity to meet Larry but if he was anything close to as special as Lyn is, then he is quite special.

Larry Levine was the best of all sound engineers! He had the talent of making any record sound as though you were right there in the studio listening in.

45 years of playing records on the radio, and almost all of the ones I've loved best were engineered by Larry. Any kid in his bedroom can put sounds on a PC these days .... but very, very few know how to do it in a way that captivates the ear.

Larry Levine was - quite simply - one of the most talented and outstanding recording engineers of the last century. He cannot ever be replaced.

I salute him and send my condolances and best wishes to Lyn and the family.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Larry. I never knew until now that he shared a May 8th birthday with Jerry Moss (and my mom). Larry leaves a great legacy of wonderful recordings that he helped create. Millions around the world would know of him, just on Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass session credits alone!

Dear Mrs. Levine,

I am very sorry for the loss of Larry. He was a great person and I will truly miss seeing him in my clinic and talking to him on the phone.

Regards,
